If you are inside an elevator that has stopped, the most important thing is to stay calm. Do not try to force the cabin doors open and do not try to climb out of the cabin yourself.

Use the alarm button or the cabin intercom to call for help. In modern elevators, the alarm system connects you with the responsible staff or the technical service, so the situation can be handled safely.

• In an emergency, always use the alarm system and wait for qualified technical staff.
